THE SUNDAY PROJECT 〰️

Honest photographs of family rituals, traditions, and everyday life.

For my family, Sunday supper at my sister’s is the one constant in a sea of change. Our daughters are like sisters. Our husbands are friends. We almost never miss Sunday supper and when we do, the whole week feels off. It is our ritual, our religion and something to look forward to every week. It’s casual and fun and zero pressure to be on time or perform perfection. It is the inspiration behind THE SUNDAY PROJECT - a concept born out of the desire to document the charming chaos of life at home. Whether you’re cooking in the kitchen, gardening in the backyard, running through a sprinkler on a hot day, having a picnic at the beach or gathering with friends or family for an annual tradition - If you have ever thought to yourself, “wow, this life is beautiful,” then it’s time to document it.

As a mom of two small people, I deeply understand the impulse to put off family photos until your house is clean, you’ve repainted the living room, your outfits magically coordinate, no one has a cough, the dog has a bath, you’ve lost 5 lbs, and your grays have just been touched-up.

I am here to tell you that day does not exist, But you will never regret pushing through the endless obstacles and investing in future nostalgia. The effort spent documenting this moment in time - no matter how imperfect it may look - will be worth it in the end. I give you permission to be a little messy, disorganized, scatter brained and problematic. No judgement whatsoever. The beauty is in the madness.
